Sun Peaks Ski Resort

Mid mountain lodge completed in 1995 comprising of a 4,000 sqft full timber frame building designed for 250 lb. snow load. Complete design/build project including architectural, structural, mechanical and electrical installation by Normerica. This very remote location with difficult accessibility required a high level of prefabrication including factory finished acrylic stucco wall panels. Total construction time was three months. Normerica was engaged again in 2017 to design and build a further 4,000 sq.ft expansion of the original lodge that was built over the summer of 2017 and ready for the opening of ski season November 2017.
