Some of our clients want Normerica to manage the complete process of designing, building, and finishing their new timber frame home or building, inside and out. Depending on location and availability, Normerica can deliver a turn-key solution with our in-house construction services team. As a licensed HCRA and Tarion builder, we have decades of experience successfully building homes and commercial projects.
Manage the construction of all or part of your timber frame shell package.
Normerica can do a supply and install, whereby we install the foundation and the materials provided in our package, and then turn the project over to you, or your builder, to finish the build.
Assist you in finding and qualifying a builder using our extensive network.
Some clients want our help finding and qualifying a contractor by accessing our network of builders. Normerica has been in business since 1979 and developed highly successful builder and trade relationships in that time. Our project specialists will help identify potential builders in your area and evaluate, with you, their suitability for your project. Our project specialist will coordinate with prospective builders in reviewing the plans and spec sheets to help them prepare an accurate budget.
Collaborate with a builder you have already hired
Some of our clients have already hired or selected a builder. That’s great and we look forward to meeting and working with them. Normerica produces some of the best drawings in the business. And our prefabricated building envelope package is designed to be quickly and efficiently assembled. We love connecting with new builders that share our passion for building better. Your builder will not be alone to tackle this!
- Review plans and spec sheet with builder to help them develop pricing for your project.
- Organize a “plans flip” where we, either in person or virtually, walk through the entire set of plans and discuss important details.
- Send a Normerica technical representative to your project to oversee, with your builder’s crew, the assembly of the timber frame with a site review of our building envelope details.
- Once the building is dried-in, before insulation, Normerica will do a site visit with our blower door to run some diagnostics on the building and confirm it is performing optimally.
